FEATURING THE LIFE OF RENZO DELA CRUZ

12th of  day September year 2002 at Guinyangayan, Quezon Province when Mr. Romulo and Lyzelina Dela Cruz had their 4th child among their 5 children but raised here in Roxas City,Capiz.Renzo Dela Cruz was the 4th among the 5 children of his parents. Renzo Dela Cruz will always be remembered and and acknowledged for being an inspiration to others especially to his fellow students because having of various achievements and excellence he got on his academic life and so much more despite of his life status.   As we go further, you will know him and mere facts about his life. 

According to him,he grew up on a poor family.Her mother is a laundry girl and she sacrifices a lot just to survive as a family while his father had no stable job at all."I feel the emptiness and insecurity in myself every time I see children with material things that I don't have and I really want to have those things but my family can't afford it." he said.

As the young aspirant grown up and studied his grade school at Libas Elementary School where they are also currently living in,he experienced a lot of challenges at his early age. "I remember when I was on Kinder ,I never experienced to be dressed by my mother and go to school with her. It really hurts me because I see my classmates spoon-feeds by their mother with their snacks while I am just sitting on the corner of our classroom with just having 5 pesos as my snack to buy.On contrary, I am very thankful that my mother fulfill those emptiness that I feel because she really did her best just to support as I am continuing my academic life." he proudly stated.

As a result of all of his hardships and struggles he experienced on his life, he never failed everyone because he became the top 1 of his class on his 1st grade until he graduated with flying colors or a class Valedictorian. When he was in high school,another milestones and 'teen age problems challenged him once again.But, let us find out on how our young aspirant faced and fought for his inner peace."I experience having an anxiety because of so many problems,some of those are family problem and being criticized by people and even by my family as well;because of my gender.They kept on saying that I will be like others that goes on the wrong path and will become a failure.But I am also thankful there are still a lot of people who made me feel that I am not alone,they give me advices that I should not give up.Instead, I should keep on fighting.He said.

As I asked him much further,I can still see the sincerity on his face because aside from being bullied of his gender,financial problem also gave him a big impact but as I asked him about his another life circumstances,he enlightened me again,what I've heard from him was; "I also experience having no money when going to school since my mother is the only person who supports us but I instill on my mind that poverty is not a hindrance to success.As a proved of that,I became a representative of Roxas City on the Provincial EXEMPLARY CHILD 2015 and I won there as the Champion and represented the whole Capiz on the Regional level and I also won as 3rd Runner-up.Because of that,I became an inspiration to others."

The young as aspirant harvested various of excellence as he focused on his studies,he didn't mention some of his achievements,victory and fruits of hard works but a lot of people labeled him as a young Impromptu speaker,Youth Leader,Journalist,Broadcaster,Researcher and Statistician at the age of 15.He is also the school's representative. "VERSATILE",people define him as versatile because of different his skills,wisdom and talents. As his blogger, I defined him not a "Versatile" but a "Genuine" person.Aside from being blessed academically,he is also kind and a good friend to all of us.We've witnessed his struggle and fought with him together.He is not only "maalam", he is also known as one of the humble and happy-go-lucky kind of person."In terms of my  academic life,I've never failed those people who believes in me and I proved people who criticized me that they're wrong because I  maintained being the top of the class from grade 7 and graduated as the top notcher of class 2019.Now,I am continuing my journey as a STEM student because I want to take up Chemical Engineering and I will use positive and negative experiences of my life as my motivation and spark to ignite the fire that lies deal inside of me in order to become a successful person so I can payback all the hardships of  of my mother and to make our life more stable in the future."

Everyone can be an inspiration.Everyone can told different stories in anyways.Everyone will be facing a lot of things everyday and everyone will experience the darkness of life but as our young aspirant shows us that,we have to use the things that we have  in  order
for us to have what we don't really have and we want in ourlives. Our young aspirant shows us that poverty is not and will never be the hindrance to success. Renzo Dela Cruz is now looking forward and still instilling the hope and his fighting spirit as he awarded as the Highest honors on his class this school year 2019-2020,first grading. #PADAYON!
